Meet Sensei Vic Granic
As the founder and chief instructor of Super Kick Karate, my place is right on the tatami mats alongside our students. I personally lead our classes and take pride in knowing every single student by name. To me, karate is never just about learning techniques: it is about mentoring each individual to unlock authentic self-confidence, build lifelong discipline, and cultivate real leadership that extends far beyond the dojo walls.

Vic helped found and launch the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame alongside Sensei Don Warrener at Vic’s Canadian Open tournament. Established to preserve and celebrate martial arts excellence across the nation, the organization honoured its historic inaugural class in 2006, recognizing the true architects of Canadian discipline, sport, and combat heritage.
The 2006 induction ceremonies marked a watershed moment in Canadian martial arts, uniting visionary masters across Karate, Judo, Kung Fu, and Tae Kwon Do under one prestigious banner.
Paul Chan
Father of Canadian Kung Fu
Honoured for pioneering and establishing Chinese martial arts traditions throughout Canada, fostering generations of practitioners through authentic discipline and mentorship.
Frank Hatashita
